PREPRODUCTION PROCESS FOR ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Professional photography is often the final phase of your project. We’re creating a living document that represents your craft, brand, and vision. With these images, you’ll be able to showcase your work through advertising, marketing campaigns, pitches, professional portfolios, social media, and design competitions globally. We must tell your story through a set of carefully planned images that represent your project beautifully.
Preproduction meeting about your project’s design intent and use of the spaces. From here we will collaborate and create a shot list that is cohesive in telling your project’s story. When possible, a project site walkthrough is the best way to accomplish this. It’s also a great opportunity to identify site-specific logistics, timing for best lighting conditions, and composition planning.
Every project is unique. Once a detailed shot list is in place and the project logistics are identified, we can determine the amount of time needed to complete the photo shoot and post-production. From there, a project estimate will be created based on the complexity, the number of images needed, usage of images, timeframe, and project location.
FEE STRUCTURE
We operate using two basic fees: Production Fee and Post-Production Fee.
Production Fee: Our production fee accurately mirrors the dedication and expertise invested in project completion. This encompasses meticulous pre-production strategizing, thorough site evaluations, site-tailored arrangements, insurance coverage, equipment provision, and on-location time commitment.
Post-Production Fee: Subsequent to the photo session, we allocate substantial time to meticulously enhance your images to achieve flawlessness. This process encompasses tasks like color refinement, retouching, artistic composition, and the meticulous preparation of master files for ultimate delivery. It's worth noting that the post-production phase often demands an equivalent amount of time as the initial photo shoot.
COST SHARING
Opting for cost-sharing stands as the most effective approach to lower photo production expenses. This widely embraced and advantageous method yields benefits for all stakeholders. Whether it's owners, contractors, vendors, or brands associated with your project, each can reap the rewards of having access to professional photography showcasing their contributions. Our approach involves a licensing fee for each additional party, followed by the division of the collective fee among the involved parties. This strategy translates into substantial cost savings for all parties involved.
